Hi, I'm Catherine Dominick, and I am the coach at Wellness with Cat!
(Though my cat, Scout, makes his way into many of my virtual sessions.)
I have been working in the fitness industry in Boston since 2016 and that time has only reinforced in me that "wellness" does not include crash dieting or following the latest trends, but instead integrating daily practices that optimize our physical and mental health. We are all different, and our wellness plans should reflect that. I reject harmful diet-culture messaging and want to be a part of a necessary change to the fitness and wellness industries.
I believe that we are each the experts of ourselves and our own experiences, and so the coach-client relationship should be truly collaborative towards a common goal: improving your life in ways that matter most to you!
I create all training plans for the space and the equipment you have, the time you can devote, and the goals you would like to achieve.
In March of 2020, I started training clients virtually, as the in-person coaching I had done in Boston for years was temporarily unavailable due to the Covid pandemic. This change was both made out of necessity, to combat the challenges presented that year, but has continued because it allows accessible training from anywhere! By January 2021, I made the decision to open this small business and to continue to provide safe, accessible virtual training to all of my clients.
I consider it a privilege to have been able to watch my clients grow stronger, more independent, and more dedicated to reaching their goals throughout this time, and to be able to meet them wherever they are that day.
I am committed to make training and wellness coaching accessible, while retaining the quality, creativity, and customization that I offer to every client!
